JSON export and import

memory_export (GET /agentmemory/export) returns sessions, observations, memories, summaries, and profiles as one JSON document; maxSessions and offset paginate large stores. POST /agentmemory/import restores an export with a strategy: Imported records get the import provenance channel and are indexed into BM25 synchronously with vector embeddings enqueued in batches, so they surface in search without a restart.

Obsidian vault

memory_obsidian_export (POST /agentmemory/obsidian/export) writes memories, lessons, and crystals as Markdown files with YAML frontmatter and wikilinks, ready for Obsidian’s graph view. The vault directory defaults to vault/ under the export root and must stay inside AGENTMEMORY_EXPORT_ROOT. Set OBSIDIAN_AUTO_EXPORT=true to export automatically on every consolidation.

Claude Code bridge

With CLAUDE_MEMORY_BRIDGE=true and CLAUDE_PROJECT_PATH set, memory_claude_bridge_sync (POST /agentmemory/claude-bridge/sync) writes your strongest current memories into Claude Code’s auto-memory file at ~/.claude/projects/<slug>/memory/MEMORY.md, capped at CLAUDE_MEMORY_LINE_BUDGET lines (default 200). GET /agentmemory/claude-bridge/read parses the file back, so the bridge works in both directions.

Snapshots

memory_snapshot_create (POST /agentmemory/snapshot/create) writes a git-versioned snapshot of the memory state; GET /agentmemory/snapshots lists them and POST /agentmemory/snapshot/restore rolls back. SNAPSHOT_ENABLED=true adds a periodic snapshot every SNAPSHOT_INTERVAL seconds into SNAPSHOT_DIR.
